THIS IS SUNDAY'S POST
The other one is technically Sunday, but I call it a delayed Saturday. I also just realized that I never gave you those election results: I won! It was a hard fight, though... My opponent was excellent, and I find it very soothing to think that, had the results been the opposite, I would be just as confident in the future of the LCA commission as I am right now.
Anyway, here's some more mobile-like news for you: I just found out about a company (apparently decently prevalent in the US) called TellMe. They were recently bought out by Microsoft in a deal announced March 14 and effective in the "second quarter of 2007".
TellMe is an incredibly innovative company, harnessing the power of phones and modern computing to incorporate voice control into many useful applications. They power a number of 411 services, an information service (which provides you with recent stock, news, movies, or other information), and voice dialing services. The deal with Microsoft is attempting to challenge Google for dominance of the mobile search market.
I can see this as being just as heated a battle as my election, with a similar result: as much as I generally dislike Microsoft, either winning party will likely do an equally great job!
