My Second Deadly Sin
That's right, I fall victim to Gluttony. Though not in the contemporary sense -- while I do enjoys me some food, I'm far worse off in another category: shoes.
I have more shoes than pretty much any guy I know, and my collection rivals the best in my residence. 11 pairs currently call Whitney Hall home, plus shower shoes. I have, in no particular order, a pair of Dolce and Gabbana denim and suede shoes (previously owned by Elton John), a pair of white snakeskin Versaces (also pre-owned by the Rocket Man), a pair of yellow Adidas Mr. Happy shoes, a nice white pair of Lugz, traditional-like brown Converse (not those high-tops that are generic. The cool ones.), crazy Reebok Fireflys, two pairs of Aldo shoes (one white, one brown), brown Nike flip flops, Muckers (I don't know which kind) from Clarks for the colder weather, and the latest additions (which are the inspiration for today's New-dity): Creative Recreation "Cesario Lo"s in Premium Brown/Lime.
If you haven't heard of Creative Recreation yet, it's cool. They're a fairly recent startup that have been slowly but surely building cred. Their designs are a nice blend of traditional running shoes and other comfortable footwear with the more formal dress-shoe look. Some colour schemes are really subdued, while others -- like the one I have for my pair -- are a calm-yet-in-your-face look.
My other favourites from the CR collection: Fall's Fidels in Navy Gingham, and Spring's Cesariolo Prime in BW Herringbone.

The hi-tops... You're talking about the Fireflys? Because the Creative Recreations are lows. Also, what city do you live in?
