Life Is Too Short To Refrain From Eating Jam Out Of The Jar
It is also too short to spend days as I did today: the vast majority of it was consumed by my sleep. For this reason, I decided to educate myself and find something new about sleep to share with you all.
I came across a blog called Snoozester, dedicated to posting (albeit not regularly) about this nightly ritual of ours. While browsing some old posts, I came across a link to a WebMD article concerning all those different types of mattresses you see advertised on television.
To summarize, in case you don't want/have time to read a longer article, the article says that there is no single "best mattress" available. WebMD also says that firmer mattresses are not, in fact, always better.
Two things they do seem to support are the claims made by "memory foam" and those "heat and massage" mattresses. The former "conforms to near-perfect pressure, weight distribution, and support", the latter changes blood circulation to alleviate symptoms of various problems (although simply applying heat and vibration in any circumstance would do the same).
