Grrrr...

I can't believe I've been faltering like this lately. The campaign trail, along with everything else in my life, is keeping me pretty far away from my computer these past couple of days. Things should be back to normal tomorrow evening, but may be a little wonky until I get back from my visit home this weekend.

No worries, though. I have something for you tonight; yesterday's Tuesday's Tunes will be here by the end of the week (I'd rather not rush it tonight as there are more than 5 albums I'm including). Today's find is Newmindspace.

While at a presentation earlier today, I had the pleasure of listening to Kevin Bracken speak about his creation with Lori Kufner. Newmindspace is a group that promotes "interactive public art", looking to take back public spaces in metropolitan areas and use them creatively. If you've heard of the NYC pillow fight or Toronto capture the flag events (which had cult followings and tons of participants), you've been hearing about what these guys do.

I'm really impressed with the time and effort these two put in to make our cities more vibrant, and I'm really looking forward to the next Toronto (or Montreal, for that matter) event. They've even released documents -- called Metro-Morphosis -- so that other cities can use their ideas and expertise!
